M.Sc. Physics - Medical Physics Stream with Specialization in Data Science (5.0 credits)

Many particle physicists and medical physicists work daily with large data sets, and experience in data science is now an asset for many career paths. Through courses and a research thesis, these two programs prepare students both with a specialization in physics and the ability to apply the tools of data science.  Successful completion of either program can lead to PhD studies in the physics specialization - particle or medical - or to employment in physics or in other disciplines where a data science foundation is a strength.
