Q. What happens when you hit the button "Apply Now" ?
A. You will be taken to our university's Graduate Admissions page for applying online. There is lots of general information there, including step-by-step details of the process for applying and being accepted. After you've looked this over, hit the red button "Request Application Account" on the upper right of that page.
Before applying, please ensure that you meet our minimum admission requirements. Domestic applicants require a minimum B+ average in your previous physics degree. You must have an undergraduate degree in Physics or equivalent to be eligible for admission. International applicants must also provide evidence of English language proficiency as described here. Due to funding restrictions, we can accept very few international graduate students; therefore we will only consider international applicants with an A to A+ average in your previous physics degree. We receive many enquiries to review resumes and transcripts on an ad hoc basis. Due to the volume received, we cannot respond to all of these. If you think you meet our qualifications, please submit an application.
Thank you for your interest in a Carleton graduate degree in Physics!
