The Department of Physics invites applications from members of the CUPE 4600-2 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach courses that will be offered during the Winter 2025 Term. Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Physics and have previous experience in teaching university physics at an advanced level.
Procedure for Application and Deadline for Application:
15.3 (a) All applicants must apply to the Academic Department Head in writing and in relation to each course for which they wish to be considered. All applications must include an up-to-date CV, including a complete listing of all courses taught within the CUPE 4600 (Unit 2) bargaining unit at Carleton University. Applicants shall not be required to submit more than one (1) CV to each department. Other required documents must be relevant to judge qualifications and should not require applicants to provide details as to how they would shape or teach the course.
(b) When applying to classes for which they have incumbency, applicants shall not be required to (re)submit documentation beyond their updated CV.
Applicants should complete a Contract Instructor Application Form indicating each course for which you wish to be considered and submit the form to:

Please note that anticipated TA support is based on anticipated enrolment and may change based on actual course enrolment. Please note that all positions are subject to budgetary approval and the University has the right to cancel a course in certain circumstances (e.g., low enrolment).
