Research Summary

My research is associated with the LINAC Laboratory of the Ionizing Radiation Standards group at the Institute for National Measurements Standards - NRC:

• Measurement of high precision lateral dose profiles and depth dose curves for high energy electron and photon beams generated by the Vickers research linear accelerator (3 MeV - 40 MeV).
• EGSnrc Monte Carlo code benchmarking with data collected by the Ionizing Radiation Standards group for high energy electron and photon beams.
• Production and use of monochromatic, directed and continuously tunable parametric x-rays (10 keV - 20 keV) generated using the Vickers research linear accelerator.

Current Research Funding: 

Research support - partly from an NIH grant with Bruce Faddegon at the University of California at San Francisco.
