Seminar: Adventures in a Warped Dark Sector

I present recent progress on models of hidden sectors based on a warped extra dimension. The scale of the extra dimension is unrelated to the hierarchy problem and we specifically explore the limit where the phenomenology of the sector is governed by a large number of Kaluza-Klein modes whose spectrum is essentially a continuum. We motivate why this construction can be a rich source of dark matter phenomenology. These models are holographically dual to nearly conformal dark sectors and so-called unparticles. I highlight some open theoretical puzzles that I find both intriguing and vexing.
