We consider the possibility that heavy neutral leptons in
low-scale seesaws couple to dark forces in a hidden sector. The modified
phenomenology at low energies allows to explain the 4.8 sigma excess of
electron-like events at MiniBooNE and provides new signatures at
neutrino and kaon experiments.  The semi-visible dark photon in these
models can also provide an explanation to the muon (g-2) puzzle by
escaping current constraints from e+e- colliders.
