Graduate Studies in Theoretical Particle Physics

The theory group at Carleton is looking for graduate students at both the master and doctorate level. The members of the theory group work on a wide range of topics in high energy physics. Possilbe thesis topics include:

  • Studies of Higgs physics with an emphasis on the experimental consequences at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC)
  • Studies of exotic model of particle phyics (supersymmetry, technicolor, little Higgs models, extra-dimensional models) their experimental consequences at LHC
  • Studies of dark matter models and their cosmological consequences
  • Hadron spectroscopy
  • String theory

Graduate sutdents will be supportend financially through both research assistanship and teaching assistanship.
